MEET THE TEAM

Claudia Varnedoe, Founder

Director of Events & Community Outreach

Inspired by my yoga practice and conversations with peers, I decided to create an organization specifically designed for the anxious PA student. We all acknowledge that mental health and burnout are problems; now we need to address it. My hope is that this coalition will initiate a wave of change within the culture of healthcare, while providing students and young graduates with resources to achieve what we all seek: balance.

Jessica Teresi, Founder

Donation & Wellness Advocacy Coordinator

My personal recoveries from mental and chronic health conditions inspire me to continue creating wellness initiatives that motivate others to find sustainable ways to confidently become their own health advocates and voice resiliency. If my experiences have taught me one thing, it is the importance of viewing our own mental wellness as a continuous conversation – one that allows us to authentically feel a wide range of emotions for what they are, offers patience to our evolving selves, and is free of judgement. Through this coalition, my hope is that we foster open conversations that create a healthier, and kinder, space for ourselves and others.

Emilia Higinbotham

Wellness Marketing Strategist

Racing thoughts can often consume my perception during the busy semester. Through the help and wisdom of others, I am able to ease my worries and advocate for those who feel similarly. I strive to shed light upon how to improve mental clarity during PA school. Our path is so unique, and it is important to give credit to the strength that carries each one of us to succeed.
